Paradox LeatherBack ?

djcagle Apr 20, 2009 05:35 PM

This is a leatherback that I though might have some paradox. I was wondering what you guys think? Is this the key to the Albino?

You can see more pics on photo bucket

Hi DJ, that spot on the back of the Italian Leatherbacks head is a small silky spot.

Is it possible to breed her to a male Italian Leatherback and produce a higher percentage of Silkies in the clutch?

Let us know!

Hope she is a fast grower for you. Ed

That is a beautiful set of animals. Did you produce them?

I have to ask. What is the paradox about them? They look like beautifully colorful leathers to me.

Putting them together will give 25% silkies.

Albino will come from a seperate gene. Generally albinism is a recessive trait and will not be seen in the animals carrying the gene (heterozygotes).

Nice photography too!
