I don't have hedgehogs right now, but I did several years ago when I was in high school. They are highly entertaing! As far as taming as long as you're getting them from a good breeder they usually have gotten a lot of attention and do well. The female that I had was a handful when I first got her, but with some gentle handling daily she calmed down. She would only let me handle her though lol. Unfortunately she died a few weeks after giving birth to 4 babies I had to finish hand raising them, but they were incredibly tame hedgehogs!! I miss them a lot. If you have any questions send me a message, I'd be happy to answer them for you.

I don't think they would make good feeders due to all the spikes.

Seriously, saw one at a friends house recently and very cute. A bit messy but cute.

I just got a few over the weeknd, I love watching them sniff around and explore stuff. two of them are really tame but one is a little less tame. She huffs and puffs but she calms down pretty quick once you finally get her picked up. they are definitely cool though. I just can't wait for the bumble bee hedge hog. haha
