White-Lined Geckos & Hissing Cockroaches ?

br4d05 Sep 12, 2003 04:21 PM

I was wondering if White-Lined Geckos could eat Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. If they can eat them then I have a few more questions.

Where would be a good place to get some of them from?
What are some good sources of info on breeding them? I have looked at a few sites but I want referred to a site that someone whom has done this knows they have good information.

Thanks,
Brad

Ok so I checked around on the internet for hours, and found a forum (dont remember name) that had this question and they said no, but recommended Orange Spotted Roach or Discoid Roach.

As you found...hissers wouldn't be the best choice for gex. I have a colony for my savannah monitors. But for the leopard gex I have lobster roaches. The hissers will outgrow a feedable size for most gex within a week. They are also slower to reproduce so it is easier and more efficient to get a smaller roach species.
