MOVING WITH GRAVID CORN - ADVICE PLEASE

SALLIE_KEEPER Apr 20, 2009 10:40 PM

Ok, I am moving next weekend.. I have a very gravid corn that is currently in shed..and will possibly be laying next week.. How do I safely move her?? I will need to have her off heat for a few days. Temps are 70s-80s now, but should be around 60 by next weekend. I plan to place her in plastic shoebox of somesort
and then put in large crate with all the other herps that are to be moved as well.. THIS CAN BE CHANGED FOR HER..

Any ideas?? This move was not a planned at time of breeding..

Moving her shouldn't be too much of a problem. I would try to keep her at a warmer temp though AND I wouldn't put her in a moving box with other herps. The scents of the other herps could get her pretty worked up.

I would put her in her own box and try to keep her temps around 70 at least. This is what i would do anyway.

Good luck,
Walter

It should be about ten days AFTER she sheds that the eggs will come. You may have two weeks before you see the eggs. I think things will work out fine for you and her.
