These are my first eggs of the season. My Cave Rats always are the first to lay for me since they do breed so early in the season. This almost 9 ft. female produced 13 nice looking eggs...a record for her and another female should be laying soon.

.....man...I read here of a 7 footer....after I got them, now 9 foot.....what do you keep a nine foot cave in?.....(mine are still small yet, and yes they will bite, can't wait till it tags my face at 7 foot).....and 9 foot , you would think it could lay 25 eggs easily......(I know some species lay their own number of eggs no matter how big they get)....

Nine foot? I didn't think any stripe-tails got that big.

Thanks for the comments everyone...many of the Beauty Snakes get this big and even bigger such as Taiwan Beauties and Blue Beauties. Since the early '90s I've bred about all the available Beauty Snakes and none of them ever had clutches much more than a dozen or so...but their eggs are large. My Cave rats are rather laid back and are not biters however young ones can be nippy. The photo is one of my males that is about has large as the 9 ft. female, I really like the orange neck on this guy.
