Housing juvies together???

mutant Sep 12, 2003 05:04 PM

I've got a 5 month old 'annulated' and i'm going to get a 5 month old 'cooks', in a few weeks, will i be able to keep them together in a 36" x 18" x 20" (LxDxH) fibreglass viv?

Btw the spp. are in quotations due to the shops labelling, theyre going on pics from a book, they all looked like ATB's to me, and for the price (£75 ~$110) they sure as hell aren't annulateds.

Oh, whats best way to heat this viv? Ceramic heater??

I housed a pair of supposedly cooks, but when I did a scale count they AMAZINGLY turned out to be ATBs, and I came home one day to find the male dead. I don't know for sure if she killed him, but it sure looked like it. It looked like she had coiled him just below the head. So I would advise not taking the chance. They weren't being fed or anything like when problems usually happen so it was totally unexpected. Just my experience.
