These are right from Bob Fengya's animals. In my opinion these are the finest strain of Axanthics out there hands down.

I counted up to 70 crossbands before I ran out of picture. Is that many common with the NE strain?

Yes the NE's seem to have high crossband counts and the lateral pattern is usually quite scrambled.
