Not lampropeltis, but these are my very favorite! I found around 30 rattlesnakes, many racers, a few pituophis and two ringnecks.
Enjoy!

Hi Rainer,
I may be able to add some data to your egg eating phenomena. I just recently had a Honduran eat her eggs too. I have never had this before, but I have been doing several nesting experiments this year, and I think it is from the nesting being too wet at least I'm fairly confident that is the case in my situation.
Here are some old pics

I'd like to find 30 of any kind of snake in one day! It is so interesting to see the differences in hunters and their territory. Outside is all good I guess.

Big ringneck. I used to see larger ones here on the EC but its been awhile. Looks like a great day herping.

Nice Pics, what state are these in?
Mostly in WA, but I find the ringnecks in ID. They are supposed to be here in WA, but I haven't found them yet. I know there are populations in some parts of the state, but I don't go herping there often. I have a friend who has a nack for finding them and sharptailed snakes, I should be going out with him soon and hopefully I can get some nice pics of some sharptails!
