first....if that is cedar in the first pic...wash the snake and throw it all out........keep it clean as can be for awhile...

...and if you don't know the exact locality....they become generic blair's kings...

very nice generic greybands, but no way to tell what they are by looking...

......good luck...!

That cedar is probably making the snake sick or half dead depending on long it was kept in there.

What city on Criaglist did you get these from?

Tucson az, they got a pet store called tropical kingbom. thats where get my mice and rat.

Got it off the cedar as soon as I got home. the snakes had hot rocks too.

gone are the cader, hot rocks, too small H2O blows. the one on the cader is almost 4 ft in was a 10 gl tank. I got them for $50 for both.

First off, Very Nice Save!!

These two animals would both be considered generic blairs phase Gray Banded Kings.. If you want to call the darker animal "Dark Blairs Phase" you can go with that also.

The lighter animal on the #@%$&$^&^ cedar chips looks to be an older animal. Some,(NOT ALL) Gray Bands get those dark spots on the top of their scales when they get on in age. I have several older animals in my collection that exhibit these spots, but i also have even older Gray Bands that have not shown any signs of this at all?? There was a long discussion on this topic on the alterna forum a few months back if your interested in reading more thoughts on this.

Either way they are both very nice looking animals!

Good Luck with them!
