Pic of odd black patch on hypo

AbsoluteApril Apr 23, 2009 12:04 PM

Got a close up of the weird black patch on my hypo harli girl Candy. The other hypos from this litter have the odd black spot here and there like most hypos, but Candy has no black except on her tail, head and this one weird patch.

Here’s an old pic of Candy, Overall she is pale beige with light pink undertones and not much contrast.

Just thought it was kind of interesting. It just showed up a couple months after she was born and has not changed since then.

At least two of the Hypo Boas from my '08 Scar Hypo litter have
this,I think both fems.
In at least one of them its even deeper embedded black not
just the group of surface speckles.
But under a layer or more of skin
It has me very curious what could come of it.

me too! It doesn't show well in the pic I took but there are black tones that seem to go deeper than the scales as well. The fact that is it so concentrated had me wondering if it's not somehow related to an internal organ in that area?

the things that make you go hmmmmmm
