I was wondering if you guys could tell me your opinion on breeding a Ball python with a Carpet python. i really want to do it. but my aunt says no one will buy the babies because they arent purebred. personally i think they are beautiful. opinions?

I'll be the first to tell you that you're asking a contravercial question. Thats gonna be a total matter of opinion about what people think about them. Or even about hybrids at all. As far as the fact you asked about "selling them"? You'll definately be able to sell them. If someone likes them they'll buy them. Alot are in this hobby for the novelties. Take everyones opinion with a grain of salt..... Good luck.

Getting them to breed one another may be more tricky than you think.

I agree with both people of this one. You will be able to sell them and you may get some angry people as well. Getting them to breed is not as easy as you think and also even if you do, the incubation is also going to be difficult. I bred a green tree to a carpet and after 3 trys they did breed and gave me a 13 egg clutch. Only one hatched out.. So good luck.
