ok well i have had my three toed box turtle for about a year and shes been inside her whole life except in the summer sometimes i let her outside for a bit...and i was planning on building my turtle pen this year but since its getting colder i think i will just leave her in until spring...is that ok...and i dont plan on hibernating her either so wat should i do?? she doesnt eat as much and hides more i know those r signsd of wanting to hibernate but im not letting her so....wat should i do just keep her in luke warm water 20 mins. a day and put the light on higher to like the low 80s? i still havent gotten my light yet but it will be here soon...for her inside enclosure for a couple months ill just keep her in a 50 gallon tub with plants a water dish the mercury light and such...o and are peaches good for the turtle cuz i was planning on putting my pen under the peach tree....and there are kind of a lot of bees wen we dont pick up the moldy ones soo are bees bad or watever?....any other advice thanks!

Make sure you invest in a good uvb source- light seems to be an important trigger in the hibernation process.
Peaches are fine.
Bees are fine. DO NOT SPRAY THEM! If they become a problem for you, simply remove rotting or split fruit.
Bees are more than fine in fact.We need or pollinators, and they won't harm the turtle.

About six threads down is a response to 'update ...' that spells out the basics. Nathana posted it earlier today.
