Herp society(s) in north Louisiana?

I am trying to find some information about any herp societies in northern Lousiana. I live close to Shreveport. It would take hours to drive to the two sites listed in south Louisiana. I am hoping that there is something in the northern part of the state and that someone can give me some information on this. Please help.
