adamjeffery Apr 24, 2009 12:23 PM

my first clutch from a miami het motley to an amel mot/stripe started pipping this morning and their was a nice unexpected surprise...so far 2 of the babies are amels....i wasnt expecting that, so i got a bonus. none are out all the way yet but one of the amels appears to be a mot/stripe. im really hoping the miami shows through on this clutch. nice bright babies...(fingers crossed)

How long were they in incubation?
I cant wait until I get hatching started. I love the surprises. In my opinion, it is better than christmas!

well, since miamis are just line bred normals, it is by looks. In my opinion, miamis should have a gray background with red saddles. normals lean more toward the tan/orange background with brown or orange saddles
