UTH-do I turn down at night?

Since im still new to this uth thing, I have it plugged into a dimmer, should I turn it down everynight? right now I have it rougly around 85 on the bedding..should I just leave it there day and night? I am not using any other heat, just the Uth on the one end of the tank..thanks

An overall downward shift in enclosure temps would seem to replicate nature. Not sure if its nessesary but many do so.

I drop my UTH down to 75 on a night through the day i have it in the mid to high 80's

It is really not necessary and is just extra work for you. I would just get it set up how you want it and leave it alone.
