This should be an interesting project.

I started using green moss on top of vermiculite about 8 years ago. I think makes the females more comfortable when they can hide.

Cant wait to see the results of that pairing....

I also use green (spanish) moss atop vermiculite in my nest boxes and the female really seem to dig it. I had great results with it last year.

Jason, do you have pics of both of those snakes? Are they up on your site? I haven't visited for a while. Can't recall having seen your White-sided Great Basin. Yet another interesting project involving deserticola.

Congrats on getting good eggs from her. You know I've been waiting.

I use straight Spahagnum moss (a box FULL), and that has worked better for me than anything.
