orange head roach question

reptileph Apr 27, 2009 05:03 AM

Is it ok to use orange head roaches as food item for bearded dragons? I have read that they will release some liquid substance when something triggers them. Is this safe?

I believe they are fine for beardies. I think know they have a bad defense odor but does not affect the beardies. If you are looking to start a colony i would say to go with the Blaptica dubia. They end up being around the same size with no odor problems. Good luck though!
