New pictures of the first Sharp Snows

kblumenthal Apr 27, 2009 07:01 AM

A nice warm weekend here in Jersey means go get some outdoor pics (finally!), so here they are...

This is "Whitesnake" the sire of my April 23rd litter. He was the first Sharp Snow and is now 2 years old.

In the shade pics:

Some in the direct sun:

Here are a few pics of him with a female that was born in July of 2007 from a different litter. She still has retained some lavender in her tail almost 2 years later.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Mike, I really like how they look as they get older - there's definitely a cool look to them (at least in my biased eyes).

Thanks Lar, I need to take some pics of her in the shade to help show how the lavender in her tail looks. It's tough to capture with a camera that's for sure.

I had no idea they retained so much pattern. Beautiful. Congrats

kblumenthal Apr 28, 2009 02:28 PM

Thanks Sharon, I definitely like how the male has turned out with a nice contrasty look and bright white tail. The female has "stuff" going on too, I will have to see how she turns out down the road.

Kevin,
Those are some knock-outs!

Nice pictures too, they really show the true colors and patterns of the animals!

Thanks Chaz, I was happy to see the weather finally warm up. I enjoy taking outside pics because it really shows an animals true color. It's REALLY tough to get a good inside pic of a snow, that's for sure.
