Make sure you have washed her and her tub -- mild dish soap works well. Need to get the sent of eggs off her. Most of mine eat right after. i would give her another week or 2. She'll eat and eat and eat....

This is my first yr breeding, I was told to wash my females with a little dish detergent to remove egg smell and to clean the tub and water bowl thoroughly(sp) then give new fresh bedding. I did and the first two ate in about a wk, the other just laid last fri night. Best of luck to you.

I washed right after removing the eggs from her and even placed her in a different tub guess I will just wait some more to time the only thing I could think is maybe the rat I put in was a little bigger than what she usually eats but not some thing she can't handle but just bigger next time I will try smaller! Thanks to all posters!

I'm going to third what the others have said. Wash off your female, dump her old bedding, and wash her cage with soap and water before replacing the bedding. After you do that, give her some time to settle back in then offer her food.

>>eggs not to eat a week after?

Just as others have stated, completely wash EVERYTHING. I also move my females that just laid from their rack space to one where no eggs were laid.

...in addition to what others have said. Its a good practice any time a snake has been off food for an extended period of time.
