Came home from work today and found my other female sitting on 4 eggs. Took them out and put them in the incubator.
Woke up to her sitting on another one.

There is one that is HUGE. (The one labeled one).

I'm hoping.
Maybe I'll hatch a 2 headed pastel!
Imagine what I could get for that? Haha.

that's the biggest bal python egg i've ever seen.

either multiple siblings in that egg or a hatchling that can take small rats right out of the egg

As long as it's female and pastel, I'll be happy. Haha.

Seriously though, that egg really is huge. If I owned an burms I'd think one snuck in and laid an egg. Haha.

I cant see the pics from work...(killing me), how much does it weigh?

kingofspades Apr 28, 2009 03:50 PM

I didn't weigh it. It's attached to the other 3 eggs.

Missing from the pic is the last egg she laid which I put in later. (I thought she was done when I took them from her, I was wrong)

The top egg labeled with the marker.
The egg under it is also pretty big (the bottom one).

Dang! That thing puts me in mind of a book I read as a kid, by Oliver Butterworth. Story about a boy and the monster egg laid by one of his hens . . .

Better not show that pic to PETA, they may start thinking your trying to hatch out a baby T-Rex or something! Please post pics if it hatches out for you, I'd like to see the size of that newborn.
