Loss of a fellow herper

NUCCIZ_BOAS Apr 27, 2009 08:55 PM

I just found out that Lee Watson out of the Chicago area passed away earlier today. Lee ran his own show in Streamwood Illinois for years and was one of the nicer guys I have ever spoken with. If anybody has any info about a service being held, please post?

His family and friends are in our prayers, he will be missed!

A Great Loss Lee Watson

Lee Watson,
Lee passed away Saturday night after a long fight with cancer. Lee was one of the pioneers in our hobby and a wealth of knowledge. Always willing to take on any fight to protect our rights in this hobby.
At his family's request his wake will be private. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. I will post it when I get the date.

R.I.P. My friend and mentor.

Scott Smith

Where; Cross Winds Farm 8905 S. Grant {RT 20} Marengo IL 60152

My condolences to Lee's family, I will missed him as he was a good man. I have known Lee for many years now and I only saw him at the reptile shows but I did considered him a good friend. He always said " Hi " to me when ever we saw each other and he would even just BS with me about reptiles and other thing. I will miss are conversations Lee you are in a better place now.
