Southern eggs

daneby Apr 29, 2009 11:29 AM

This girl gave me 5 good eggs, & there were also a few bad ones. The pic I took of the entire clutch didnt turn out for some reason, but here she is when I discovered her laying a couple days ago.

Nice!

I love the sight of nice white eggs like those.

How are the westerns doing this season, got a clutch or two of them incubating yet?

Take Care

Hey Rich, hows it going, did you get a ton of snow down there? We got 25" of it over the last 3 days & its still snowing!

Yea, I do have a bunch more hog eggs cooking, mostly MT plains. How about you, having a good season?

Talk to you later man

Hey Dan...that's always an exciting sight!!! Especially with that breed of hognose. Hope they all hatch healthy for you! I incubated my southern eggs at mid 70's and got a pretty high female ratio. Kevin Fisher
