Male Pastel Ghi

Ghireptiles Apr 29, 2009 09:14 PM

This guy was a fast starter and turned into a sporadic feeder so he's stuck in the 300 gram range...for now. He is one of my holdbacks that I am really looking forward to plugging into some different morphs. Hope you like his looks!

if by RA you mean, red axanthic : Have you look at the pastel het red axanthic ? Doesn't look like that at all IMO.

het red axanthic are a genetic black back.

But that snake looks nothing like a Pastel Het Red Axanthic.

attached is a pic of a pastel het red axanthic as hatchlings. you may be right or not on it being or not being. every snake varies whether it's in color or pattern.

however i strongly feel it has het RA genes in the mix. other genes that could be in the mix i would say is fire or YB.....i would lean more on the side to either pastel or YB.

just my thoughts.

GHI balls are not a combination of other mutations they are a separate genetic trait proven last year by Matt.

A pastel GHI is a combo between a pastel and a GHI....nothing else.
