While I was handling him today I noticed under his chin is turning dark/black??? Is this normal??

Ok, I am really confused now!! Went to turn the rest of his lights off and the dark color is gone???? He did get mad right before I put him up earlier and poofed his face out at when. That's when I noticed the dark color.

Lol he got mad at you. It is normal for them to do that it is one of the displays. Males tend to do it more than females and usually is in conjuction with head bobbing. It is usually done during mating or when he sees a female but will do it on other occasions. Nothing to worry about....

Yes if they feel they are in dander they will puff out their beard and turn it black. Sometimes they will open their mouth up wide and hiss too. You will see it a lot don't worry. Just calm him down and it goes away.

That is why bearded dragons are called 'bearded'.

When stressed, during territorial and courtship displays, both male and females can darken their throats. They can also extend them out forming a dark inverted 'fan' of their throats.

Its perfectly normal and natural for dragons to do this.
