Happy Baby Pictures - Lots

Rob Jenkins Sep 12, 2003 08:32 PM

Just some pics I took of babies tonight while I was cleaning.

Enjoy.
Our first SHCTBxHT baby, not showing the best of pattern (or lack of)

Our Second SHCTBxHT baby, much nicer looking so far

Clutchmate to the one above; looks about the same

Our most recent one at 8 days old today

Het Blizzard

Tremper Jungle Albino, not as nice as his/her clutchmate below

Reverse Stripe Tremper Albino

Week old Jungle Albino

I think this one is het albino, or het blizzard, or TangxHigh Yellow; don't really know

How is everyone else's season going?

Great looking leos! Love that reverse stripe, awesome! I got a question for you, wouldn't the one in the last pic be considered a jungle since it has broken tail bands?
Thanks,
Adam

You know, I think so too, but I wish I knew what genes it had in it. I'm inclined to say it's probably a het albino, because the only leos I've bred this year that were jungle were my albinos and 1 female jungle (non-het). It would make sense that she'd produce jungle albino hets, but because we (my wife) moved the eggs when I was gone, we lost track of what was what. It's easy to tell the Hypo Carrot Tails and the albinos, but beyond that, I can't be certain. The only clutch we were certain was two het blizzards, which hatched before moving the eggs around. This is a perfect example of how important it is to mark your eggs and keep good track of them. Next year, I'll probably have a separate container for each type of morph/color.
