Tortoise advice

wing Apr 30, 2009 07:31 AM

Hi,

I have a sulcata and a Herman and planning on getting a last one. I was wondering what tortoise I can get that doesn't require too much sunlight like the Sulcata. I'm looking at Red foots. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

.I keep my Cherry Head in a planted vivarium. There is a lot of opinions on weather or not they need UVB or should get it through their diet. In the wild they would only get sun that is filtered through the tall trees, and get their vit. d through food. Once your enclosure is set up, he is no work at all. I keep him indoors in the winter and outside in the summer
