Anyone Looking in June?

chris_mcmartin Apr 30, 2009 01:08 PM

Depending on when I can get time off, and for how long, I MAY be in the Trans-Pecos for a couple of days towards late June. Anyone else?

Alicia and I were planning on going the last week in May, but now I have a Chondro clutch hatching that week, so a couple of overnights to 277 or Langtry is all we'll be able to manage. So I'm considering a trip further west late in June. A lot will depend on the weather-so far not a drop of rain in quite a while, and unless that changes we might be spinning our wheels out west...

The Avalanche has already started-it is too late for the pebbles to vote....

I'll keep an eye on the weather then. The Trans-Pecos or points even further from where I am now would be a nice trip, if the conditions are right, but yeah--if the odds are going to be like last June, I might forgo the extra mileage.
