Why do the best take so long to shed?DUW

skyslinger Apr 30, 2009 02:15 PM

It never fails! The ones you want to see shed the most always take the longest. Sometimes a month longer even as was the case last year with my albino arab litter. This year it is the sunglow arab litter. Is it an Arab thing? Well, here are the ones I am still waiting on. The sunglow and hypo arabs held their pattern better than ANY I have ever seen. If there are better out there I would love to see pics because I don't remember ever seeing them. These should be unreal when they shed!

I had one hypo arab in my arab sunglow litter last year that had a perfect arabesque pattern. I could never get him to eat and he ended up passing though unfortunately.

They are out standing beautiful group. Wonderful Heavy pre and post Ocular stripe pattern .
Even the normal hypo Boas are influenced with that strong pre and post ocular stripe pattern.

I've been thinking this for some time. That head and ocular stripe pattern on an Arabesque Boas
make me think they are some how related to Longicauda.
A natural Colombian Longi cross.

That was produced by Pete Kahl & Tom Burke back 2004. He was one of three and I believe the first ones produced. I had mine for seven months before succumbing to liver cancer.Ty you have some nice one's and I know you're jazzed about them as I was when I had mine. I hope to have at least one in my collection again in the near future. Oh by the way they will get better with age, because I have an blurry pic when he was older and the color was getting better and better.

about those that didn't make it in the past. Derek I know you are right about them getting better and better. I still have female available if you are seriously wanting another and not going to produce your own. Peace
