OT again, babies dropped.....

rainbowsrus May 01, 2009 10:47 AM

I know, more BCI stuff Tis the season.....

Storm front came in last night, checked everything one last time around 1:30 AM and all was as it has been for weeks. Dropped off my daughter for school and checked again and my DH snow has dropped her litter. Same pairing that produced my Moonglow "Luna" last year, TH Moonglow x DH Snow. She was due this coming Sunday so a couple days early but still are full term no yolk babies YAAYYYYYYYY!!!

Quick count shows...

Three whites (Snow or Moonglow) (1/32 odds each)
Two yellows (Albino or Sunglow)
11 Darks (Anery, Ghost, Hypo or Normal)
3 Taters

Look to be fresh out the vent as several had not even broken out of their sack including both Albino/Sunglows.

Mom looked like she was gonna be nasty, tracking my every movement at the window so I gloved up but she gave me no trouble. Letting the babies work their own way free.

A few pics to enjoy until I get them out....

Similar to Albino and Sunglow, the tail blotches on a snow have rings, on a moonglow they are solid.

So...do the Moonglows stay white as they grow up or do they turn yellow-ish? Got any adult Moonglow pix to share?
