using a canister filter for a spay bar-

I read on a japanese vivarium website about this guy
using a canister filter similur to this one-

and puting the filter intake under the false bottom and the output was a spay bar

im wondering if anyone ever did this before?
of know anything about it?
and whouldnt it make everything too wet from constent misting?

The only spray bar I ever did was just using a regular pump and having a hose go up the tank and across cork bark. We let it run for a while and picked areas that weren't as wet to plant. You can strategically punch holes for spraying in the tube based on the cork layout, or you can kind of do it hap-hazardly as we did. It worked well for a while, but unfortunately Mark (Pepper) dismantled it after a few months to redo the frog room.
