UV or NO UV for Leopard Geckos???

I took my Gecko to the vet today and he said they DO need UV light! This goes against all I have read...Please advise...

Also, the reason I took her is that she is throwing up crickets???She just shed last night could she have been thowing up crickedt cause she was in shed phase? 2 weeks she has been doing it...

No UV.

Regurgitation can be caused by the temperature being too cool. What heating device are you using? What is the temperature on the hot side of the tank? It should be in the mid 90s.
