...ever had a female lay 30 days after mating?
I had this female mate, then without a pre lay shed, had a clutch 30 days (to the date) later. She was not bred last year, so unless they can hold sperm for two years, it is not that. All but one egg was good, btw. It is just weird. I have never had a female lay in that short amount of time.

my stripe cream has laid before her pre lay shed, twice.
Season before last she laid at 34 days (she shed right after laying) and last season she laid at 32 days.

What makes this so strange for me is that she was the first to lay, yet far from first to mate.

All of mine seem to lay around 30-40 days.

I guess I never paid that close attention. I just put nest boxes in when they go blue. This snake just seems off the norm because it is so far down my breeding list and never went blue.
