took one of my easterns to the vet a few weeks ago because it came out of hibernation with one of its rear legs tucked in its shell and was gimpin around on three legs. well after an x ray nothing was obviously wrong and with him having his little boxie way of closing up at his discretion the only other option was sedation or some metal prying things that neither of us thuoght were a good idea. so we agreed to give it some time and see what happens rather than sedate. so today he woke up and decided to poke his leg out! i was releaved! i examined it and looks fine and works like it should. the darndest thing....maybe a really bad charlie horse!lol
