Wild Weekend, another litter...........

rainbowsrus May 03, 2009 07:54 PM

Wow, sure has been a wild weekend. Had a friend over, Brian Gundy, and was going to show the boas and the first cage I went to as my next one due - little heads poking up from the corner!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

It was Sierra, Albino pos het snow x Toffee, Anery pos het Snow.

Well, Tofee did prove out but Sierra did not. The litter was 11 Albino het Snow and 14 DH snow NO slugs. Not too shabby for first time mom and dad!!!

Sorry but most of the litter pics were crappy, only one came out halfway decent.......

AND, we also noticed the next one down, Spirit, Ghost bred by Casper pos super Ghost is in contractions so any time now...... Stay tuned....

I'm a grandpa!!! Good that one of them proved out for you, it's almost hard for it not to happen with a pairing like that! I've watched a couple of people build killer collections off pos hets! Great litter!

I just think it's cool to see an animal that I produced go on and produce for someone else! I have sold so many animals and you always wonder what happens to them! Brings a-lot of joy to me to know that she went to a good home and that she produced a beautiful litter! Her mom is still my best producer with five litters under her belt!

Congrats Dave!!!!

I know exactly how you feel. So many go out and you never hear another thing about them. Others you get the frantic email about the baby escaped and how to find it (quite often never found) Only a rare few do I hear about regularly and even fewer are known to have been raised up to adulthood and produced babies of their own.

On a side note, I'm a grandpa to several litters of BRB's and this year have two shots at being a great grandpa!!

And that girl is amazing when you think about it. OK, she didn't prove het Anery, no big deal. She did produce a steller first litter, 25 babies, NOT ONE SINGLE SLUG, NOT ONE SINGLE STILLBORN!!! IMO is an amazing litter for a first time mom!!!
