Largest BP Egg?

wRobio May 04, 2009 11:55 PM

On Friday one of my females laid 4 eggs, each of them are just about 107.5 grams. Those are the largest eggs I have seen to date.

I am really curious to know what other peoples largest eggs have been.

I know I keep posting it, but I am soooooo proud of it. Haha.
I'm HOPING for twins at least, but I would settle for a female pastel or Spider.
(I put my spider male with that female too, but witnessed no locks. Guess we'll find out)

i would keep what ever comes out of those eggs and breed them back to the parents. might be something genetic going on there with that egg being so much bigger than the others.

who knows....worth a try in my book.

Which one is it again? LOL! Seriously, I've had a number of huge eggs like that and always thought twins/triplets! To date, I've never had a twin or triplet!

My big girls don't usually lay big clutches but they do lay big eggs generally in the 120-140 range.

Didn't Jurassic Park teach you not to play with Velociraptors?

I had a clutch 2 years ago from a 3000g female, 4 eggs all weighing over 140grams each. Babies came out at about 115g. I can't find the picks I changed PCs but I'll keep looking.
