WOOHOO babies!!!

amiemac9 May 06, 2009 06:41 AM

Well, my first litter of the year arrived early, but they all look good so far. Normal and Hypo Nicaraguans!! I just peeked in on mom a few minutes ago she wasn't happy with my intrusion, not sure if she's done delivering all of the little buggers yet. I counted ten heads so far. I'll post pictures as soon as I can get close enough to

Here's mom, taken yesterday...

Here's the babies, taken a few minutes ago...

After taking a better look, I count 13 heads. Not bad. According to the math, they are 12 days early, but they all look like healthy full term critters, no yolks, no slugs, no stillborns. The last litter this girl had was also totaled 13.

I forgot to add a picture of dad. I was hoping that some of the babies would have the screaming red tails like dad.

Congrats. I am waiting on a litter of these myself. Out of interest, what length is the other?
