UPDATES on JUNGLE het. GHOST liter .....

VFR May 06, 2009 06:52 PM

Hey guys I wanted to share some updates on the Salmon Jungle het. Ghost litter and on the lone MP line Salmon baby het. Sharp. For those that don't know I had bred my Sharp Sunglow male to my full striped MP line Salmon female. She gave me nothing but pills and just ONE baby in which I thought it would not make it more than a day. Well it has now been 5 days and that baby seems to be picking up strength so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Now for the Jungle litter, I had bred a Jungle purchased from Peter Kahl to an Ivory Ghost from J. Hopkins and I got a great looking litter of Salmon Jungles and Jungles all het. for Anery. In the litter I got one "special" boa a Ghost Jungle which I think it's the first one produced to date. Again, I was not too sure on how this boa would fare and this boa too has started becoming more and more active. I guess a little TLC does go a long way. The first picture is of the Ghost Jungle and MP line Salmon het. Sharp. The next few pictures are of some of the regular Jungles het. Anery.

That is a very good looking litter and a special baby.
Frank Martin produced several litters last year breeding Jungles het for anery with ghost boas. Anery and ghost jungles were produced in the litters but none of them was really aberrant. The ghost jungles look really nice and get lighter as they age.
I think with the amount of aberrant pattern in your snakes you should be able to produce some really dramatic anery and ghost jungles in the future. I think the super anery jungles and ghosts will be very impressive animals.
Congratulations again on such a nice litter.
