I am a new WTF owner and im just making sure it wont hurt them when they eat the crickets they often get moss in there mouth and swallow it too is this harmful to them?

It depnds on the kind of moss you are using. If it's the long, thin moss you may want to change it to a live moss that is closer and tighter to the ground. When it comes to the long moss think "dental floss" Ever see what happens when a cat eats a pice of dental floss or christmas tree tinstle... them poos? It could cause some intestinal problems like impaction.

Well it is real green and almost crunchy like moss but i just set the cage up so i wonder if after a while it wont get tighter if i press it down a couple of times after i mist?
