I have about a 7-9 month old Eastern Kingsnake. So, i'll go to feed him, and usually i'll hand feed him, where im holding the pinky in front of him and usually he'll jump and grab the pinky out of my finger.
So, he hasn't ate in about 2 weeks, he's done it before...this same situation has happened before....but any time before this time he'll just grab the pinky, no problem. Also, the only time he has EVER bitten me or struck at me was when i first got him...after that he has no problem being handled.
My problem now is, after about 2 weeks of him not eating, doing his same regular thing I got some pinky's and went to feed him, and when i put my hand in the tank to feed him, he struck at me and would not go anywhere close to the pinky, so i would try it again and he would just keep striking. so what i did was put the pinky in there for awhile and let him do his thing, it was in the same place when i came back, so i moved it to where he was...and he wouldn't do anything.
Could there be anything wrong with him, why wont he eat? what could i do to get him to eat?
