we just got a new pueblan milk snake and are having trouble picking a name. he is a male. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks!!

Juan? Carlos,Carnation,does he hide alot and like "evaporate"....
instant, Whole, 2%, 1% ,Campbell, Mr milk....ringy, whirly, squiggles,squirmy,squirty, .....

Hey, I like that name too....my pueblans pretty much suck this time around, flighty,bigtime....maybe I'll call my male 'you kill me man'......he better start getting me some eggs soon or I'll call the 2 girls sumpin else.....???.....no not really

really.......I love campbelli, but the three I have now aren't good little kids....and they haven't made an egg yet....hopefully soon they start.......they could have laid last year....

as for names....names for snakes....as mentioned mine would usually have names like 06 ,012, 03 , male 04 and 05 (balls)...
scar,escapee,bugeyed dwarf, Sally (Yardsale Sally actually, the little girl named her and yes I got her at a yard sale)....
numbers like the yr,snake name initials,and a number as said, 08Ltc001M and ,08Ltc002F ,....

name it what YOU want and what YOU can remember....

I'd go with 'squirty' maybe....depends on yours....

Thanks. i just can't think of anything that 'suits' him. my husband wants to name him 'fang', but i don't really like that. if he was a girl, i have lots of great names, but male names are eluding me.

I have named my cornsnakes mostly after mountains: McKinley, Rainier, Shasta. Then there is my ghost stripe male: Tundra. I grew up in Alaska, but live in Washington now, thus the Ak and WA names. Except for Shasta which is a mt in California.

I have only cornsnakes now, but I am on the list for one of Dave Niles' black milk snakes this summer, so I have been reading and posting on this forum too. I guess I'll have to think of a name for her.

Thanks. I like him too. He is an 07 and is probably close to 4 ft by now. He has always been an eating machine, so now I have to really cut back on his rations so he doesn't get too fat! Here he is at about 5 months.

I use numbers for my snakes, but sometimes I do give them names, too.

Some of mine:

Ocotillo (tri-color hondo...named after the desert plant, ocotillo)
Lava (very deep orange tangerine hondo)
Phoenix (bright orange hypo hondo)
Psycho (absolutely insane hondo that thrashes and bites alot)
Maya (Campbelli female)
Aztec (Thayeri male)
Domino (b/w cal king with aberrant pattern)
Juno (blue-eyed blond cali, named after the girl in the movie Juno--even though she wasn't blue-eyed or blond)

I think those, along with two I mentioned in the other post, are the only ones that have names.
