IMO, the term Coral is grossly misused. Fact is, very few of them make it obvious at birth that they will be a definite Coral. Most don't display the coral trait until about a year to 18 months, then it becomes more obvious.

Most albino neonate display a lot of pink at birth, which tends to go away, sometimes completely, and sometimes it sticks around to various degrees. But it don't make them a Coral.

Coral is mis-used. I also feel that the term "het for Coral" is 100% sales slogan . Now "het for Albino from a Coral Albino" is much more "real" sounding to me.

My first Albino liter was in 05. I held back 2 Albinos . One was nicely colored right from birth, and the other was average. After about their 5th shed, the colorful one started fading out, while the other developed crazy pinks all over him.

Lipstick is a line and I don't know if only the high colored ones get called Lipsticks, or all of them, because of their lineage.

well in my case i know the breeder personally. I was able to actually see the birth. The father was one of the first motley albino's produced, the mother was a dh lipstick/coral. I was just asking about the time line not about the use or misuse of a term to classify a snake's albinism. So on that note,, that's what i have been told that it usually take's about 12 18 month's to settle in. what i am saying is she is about 10 month's old and some day's she is pink all over and other's she is just slightly pink. Well thank's for your information..... GO DOLPHIN'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed it ususally takes about a year to see the real pinks from the coral line. I have a Sunglow motley from the coral/lipstick cross and she is real orange and is just starting to show some pink/coral. She is probably a litter mate to your sunglow.
