cherokee_reptile May 09, 2009 07:46 PM

Hey everyone, Last week we recieved a bunch of corns all 6 females look to be gravid but was told its ovulation. Today we put one of the Lavender females with a Het Lavender Hypo Bloodred. I know we are going to get a lavenders and possiable hets. But my question was if she were carring eggs/slugs since she was never bred before would she let the male breed her? They did hook up.

Generally a male will not be interested in breeding an already-gravid female. Evidently, once eggs are fertilized the female no longer puts out the proper "attraction" pheromones....
