ALBINO BLOOD BOA UPDATED PICS @ 11 MNTHS

salmonboa.com May 11, 2009 02:16 AM

This special albino Blood boa is 11 months old this month and I wanted to get some pics of her before her 1st birthday. She is doing great and is one of the fasted growing boas from our 2008'.

Thanks for looking,
John

Awesome animal John! The eyes are insane, and she has a great tail. Love the contrast.

Good luck this year,

John,
That is one amazing Boa, the color, pattern and eyes are just candy to the eyes!!! That 05 female produced an awesome litter of 14 for me on 4-14-09, they're all doing good and looking great!

Excuse me for asking, but does this animal appear to have normal eye sight? With those awesome red eyes, I was just curious to know if it can see and notice movement like other boas?
Again excuse me for asking, not trying to draw any negative attention to this masterpiece. With solid red eyes like that, it would be nice to know how or if they're sight is affected at all?

Congrats on a crowd stopping beauty!!! She is trully amazing!!!
Nice photos too, really shows her colors!

No offense taken Chaz...its a great question that we have pondered ourselves. She absolutely has no problem seeing at all. Its hard to tell in the photos, but she has a completely normal pupil and it dilates just like any other albino pupil. Our vet was out a while back and took a look at her. He is confident that her vision is as good as any other boa. We are praying for more this season and hope they come out just like her. Hey eyes put you in a trance!

Let me know if you have more questions and thank you to everyone for the compliments!

Regards,
John

Hey John thanks for the response, I can actually see a hint of the pupil in these pics... It's just a couple shades darker than the rest of the eye, very cool!
Good luck on making many more like her...this year!
