Forum Poll - How Many Of You>>

LeosAnonymous Sep 13, 2003 08:13 AM

How many of you view this forum on a consistent basis?

It seems to me that with the popularity of hognose's on the rise (so I hear) that this forum would have much more activity. Did the launch of the new (longer loading) forums drive many people away? Or perhaps lots of people view the forums regularly but just don't post that much?

Just curious.

I visit almost everyday, though I don't post very often. I'm on highspeed and haven't noticed a big difference in speed in the new forums - I guess thats more of problem for the dinosaurs stuck on dialup.

I visit the hognose forum at least once or three times a day. Also visit the classifieds too and the kingnake forum.

The hognose forum is on the long list of forums that I check on an almost daily basis. Sometimes fieldwork will keep me away from the computer for a day or so.

I personally do not like the new forums. I have learned that after letting it load for a short time, pressing the escape key will stop loading and display the threads at the top of the forum which are the ones that are most relevant.

If you don't think that the forum is very active right now, wait until December and January when everybody's hognoses is not eating!!

I have learned on other herp related forums that only a quarter of the people to look at a particular post will reply to it. By that estimation I think it is safe to say that only half of the people who look at a forum will actually post.
