Humane Society of the United States has peculiar bedfellow

Rush Limbaugh espouses the right to own guns, and I�ve heard him on several occasions fomenting against laws that protect us non-smokers from inhaling carcinogenic second-hand cigarette and cigar smoke.

So how come he is backing people who would stop us all from eating meat or hunting and fishing? Why has he become a mouthpiece for the Humane Society of the United States, an animal rights organization that openly vows that it wants to do all of those things?
