Enclosure Size?

JohnRI May 11, 2009 06:36 PM

I have searched online and through the forums, have found some of info but as it seems things become outdated. So I figured I would ask what you all thought.

I was wondering if 72inches Long by 32inches wide was a good base size for Peach Throat Cage? Height wise I was looking at 60inches to 72inches.

Also has anyone had any success doing I live plant set up?

Thank You everyone for your advice.
John

I use 8' troughs for the cages I built for my pairs. I have two enclosures for single males that I used 6' troughs. I also have an enclosure that I used a four foot trough but I havent had to use because its just an enclore to seperate agresive males wich hasnt been a problem yet. A 6' enlosure would work for a single animal but its pushing it. The are alot more fun to watch in larger enclosures. Shoot me an email if you have any other questions. Thanks Ian
