Ok, a simple set up is a bed-a-beast substrate at least 3" deep with a water dish. That is how I have mine set up. Many suggest a hiding spot and plants, the hiding spot is suggested, but is not totally necessary. And you'll need a heat source, use a heat lamp, not an undertank heater or heat pad, that will heat it's tank to about 83 degrees farenheight through the day, and the temeratires can drop to as low as 70 degrees farenheight through the night but no lower. I hope this helps.

thanks it did help a lot... also can i feed my frog fish as a juvinile to or should i just stick to crickets and wax worms for now?

Go with a varied diet, but not wax worms at that age, they are intended for putting weight on an animal. Try, crickets, nightcrawles, and feeder fish once in a while. Suppliment all but the feeder fish since you may oversuppliment if feeding supplimented feeder fish. Suppliment about 2 times a week until it's about the size of a $.50 cent peice, then move to supplimenting once a week.

i dont understand what you mean by supplament. does this mean i can feed his feeder fish or no?

By suppliment I mean a calcium and vitamin suppiment, I use Herpcare: Calcium & Vitamin D3 suppliment for my frogs. You dust the food with it before you feed it to your frog.
