If I had to guess I would say normal.......Don't see too many flames down the side.

I'm not so sure that's the case. Flip it over and take a pic so we can see the overall pattern, the head looks right, the belly markings are fine, the flames don't have to be all the way down the sides to be a YB, they do vary.

I say it is a subtle one but still a YB nonetheless. This particular one reminds me of a Ch female that I proved out in 2005 by producing a female Ivory with her by breeding her to another more obvious Ch Yb male. About 75% of the people that looked at her pics said she wasn't a YB, I still thought she was, when she made an Ivory in a 4 egg clutch that pretty much ended that discussion!

I'd say this one will end up the same way, maybe not a smoker but still a YB!

If someone told me that was a YB, I would agree.

I don't see it....it looks like its trying to have the YB belly but I don't think so. The top view also doesn't scream YB to me either. Of course they vary alot and some are very subtle so maybe this one fits in that category but I don't see it.

i would say YB..........it has all the markers

eye color
dot on head
golden hue on dorsal
speckled belly

the only true way to prove if it is or not is to breed it.

good luck
