Hi, i have small problem. My wstern hognose female eats with no problem from time i get her. She eats every 3-4 days. Till one feeding, when she get very big adult mouse. She grab her not in head but in half of body. After long time, she leave mouse. After this she stops eating. I knew that she will reach 300 gram in 3-4 weeks, but now i have doubt.

And here is me question. How do You think. Sholud i put her to cooling time, and after this try to feed her very strong or try to reach better weight before rest ?

She have now 240 grams, 2 weeks ago she have 261 grams, but she stops eating. Sorry for my eanglish.

If she is off feed now I would wait till she hasn't fed for 2 weeks then I'd put her down for 6-8 weeks. She will have 3-8 weeks after you bring her up to feed her and make the weight. If she is 275 -290 I would still breed her. feed her high calcium items like fuzzy mice filled up on milk and she should do well for you.
