"Duck BIlls"

ohernz May 12, 2009 06:19 PM

I know that some morphs or morph combos such as the super cinny or the super black have genetic problems and one of them is the duck billing...I have also read that sometimes normals can show the same defect....exactly what does a "duckbilled" ball python look like? are there any pics out there? I haven't been able to find any.
Does anybody have any pics?
Thanks

I do not have pics but have seen it in person with a pistripe and super cinny. In a nut shell the over jaw over hangs the bottom jaw quite bit. I have seen the lower jaw being half the size of the upper jaw.

Also, the entire jaw is longer and more bulbous on the end..just like it says, like a duck bill.

Clutch #2, far right, I'm pretty sure that's a 'duckie'.

You can also kinda see the upturning nose on the NERD photos

These aren't like the BAD cases I've seen, though.
